A couple weeks back I spent some quality time aimlessly browsing a local sporting goods store with my daughter. We wondered up and down the aisles dreaming about upgrading our camping gear and laughing at how ridiculously pricey some of these products can be. Then we stumbled into the camp meal section, something we are quite familiar with. The selection at this store was impressive, compared to what we are used to finding at some other unnamed stores. We each excitedly pointed out meals we wanted to try on our next adventure! That's when the ice cream jumped right off the shelf and into my daughters arms. It wasn't the melty kind, but rather the freeze dried kind, astronaut ice cream! She was intrigued by the concept and I was reluctant willing to give her the opportunity to try it out. So, we purchased an ice cream sandwich and documented her first experience trying out the astronaut treat!
